Questions
How many attendants will be available during the party?
We generally have two party attendants available to assist throughout the duration of your party.
When can I come in to set up for the party?
You are welcome to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled party to set up any decor. Our party attendants will be available to help with the setup.
How is the food served during the party?
Food for children is served sit-down style, while food for adults is served cocktail-style.
What food and drink options are available during the party?
During your party, the entire space, including the café, is reserved for you. We offer a variety of food and drinks for both children and adults. You can choose to host your event with either an open tab or a closed tab for café purchases:
Open Tab: Your guests can order freely, and you will be responsible for covering the total tab for all food and drinks at the end of the party.
Closed Tab: Guests will pay for their own food and drinks as they order throughout the party.
Can I bring my own food or drinks?
We allow outside food or drinks. Food can be selected from our menu, and no substitutions are permitted.
Can I customize my party package?
Yes! You can add customizations to your party package at any point up to three (3) weeks before the party. However, please note that the availability of additional hours depends on current bookings and may not always be guaranteed
When do I need to provide the final headcount for my party?
We prefer you submit the final headcount at least two (2) days before the party to help us prepare. However, we understand that plans change, and we’re happy to adjust the headcount at the end of the party.
How are payments handled?
For any customizations added after the original booking, an invoice will be sent via email on the same day the changes are made. Payment for customizations is required by the end of the day they’re added. Payments for the café open tab and final headcount adjustments will be settled at the end of the party.
What is the sample schedule for the party?
Here is a general sample schedule for parties at The Village:
Party Start Time: Guests arrive + Custom activity (if booked)
1 hour after start time: Snack/Meal time for children
1.5 hours after start time: Cake and pictures
What are the parking options at The Village Edgewater?
Street parking and meter parking are available near the venue. Please note that the meters are currently not operational.
